Christina Leinberger, Senior Strategist, Provides Insight on Today’s Paid Social Space

On Tuesday, November 9th, BOLD had the fortune to host Christina Leinberger, Paid Social Senior Strategist at Mediahub, who delivered the various skills and channels that are active within today’s industry. Our members were particularly delighted to hear more about the guest speaker’s past experiences and dynamic brands Christina has been fortunate enough to work with.

Standing as a proud FIU alumna, Christina graduated with a B.S. in Public Relations in the midst of her social media career transition. As she had the opportunity to work post-grad with various agencies including Kreps DeMaria PR & Marketing and Omnicom Media Group, Christina also partook in a couple of freelancing projects revolving influencer marketing and organic social. Her current MediaHub activities include more of a “pay-to-play method of displaying sponsoring marketing messages” throughout top social platforms of today (Leinberger). With her enticing position as a senior strategist for Dropbox™, Christina describes paid social possessing the capacity to be a standalone media planning element for holistic campaigns.

Throughout the presentation, members were able to ask questions on what the most important factors are when receiving a client brief, and the thinking process that will produce the most results. She further went in depth mapping out what necessary steps to take once a business objective has been established and why choosing the right social platform will have a large effect on the campaign’s overall creative goal. The guest speaker incorporated KPI relevance, app analytics, advanced units/capabilities and many other fundamentals during her time expressing the essential steps taken for a successful paid social campaign.

Christina Leinberger completed the presentation by discussing her ability to work amongst a variety of subdivisions within paid social and the field obtaining multiple avenues for new graduates to grow interest in. As Christina displayed an expansive array of app knowledge and marketing strategies throughout the world of paid social, it was safe to say that members received an abundance of new social media understanding.
